ABOUT GOLDEN MEDIATION
Aubrey E. Golden practiced as a general counsel in a wide variety of
civil and criminal litigation until January 2002. His clients included
trade unions, professional associations, Indian and Inuit aboriginal
organizations, the National Farmers' Union and the United Farm Workers'
Union.
He has acted as counsel in a significant number of leading
constitutional and administrative law cases, many of which have reached
the Supreme Court of Canada.
He has practiced in all ten Canadian provinces as well as Nunavut , and
has been a member of several provincial bars. He currently serves as a
member of the Toronto Licensing Tribunal and is a past Chair.
Aubrey mediates litigation matters in a broad range of areas including employment law, environmental disputes, public interest, defamation, aboriginal and general human rights cases. Experience has demonstrated the usefulness of mediation as a successful alternative to litigation in these cases.
